Dear Mama Mail is a handwritten-style postcard series created especially for moms raising children with additional needs — a simple, heartfelt reminder that you are not alone.
Each card is written by singer-songwriter Amy Sullivan, signed and mailed from her home in Ontario, Canada as a tangible message of hope — something real to hold onto in the middle of hard seasons.
Who is this for?
Dear Mama Mail is for moms parenting children with diagnoses, disabilities, developmental differences, medical complexities, or mental health challenges.
It’s for the mom who feels unseen.
The one carrying more than most people realize.
The one who doesn’t have the time or capacity to take care of herself.
If you’ve ever felt isolated, exhausted, or misunderstood in your motherhood — this is for you.
How does it work?
Choose a 3-, 6-, or 12-month subscription.
Each month, you’ll receive one handwritten-style postcard in your mailbox — thoughtfully written, personally signed, and sent with a prayer for you and your family.
Encouragement from someone who gets it, one card at a time.
When are cards mailed?
Cards are mailed once per month from Ontario, Canada.
You’ll receive an email confirmation after purchase, and cards typically arrive within regular postal timelines for your country.

Do you ship outside of Canada?

Dear Mama Mail ships to both Canada and the United States.
U.S. deliveries may take slightly longer depending on customs and postal timelines.
Can I send this as a gift?
Yes — Dear Mama Mail makes a meaningful gift for a special-needs mom in your life.
Simply select a gift card amount in our store and at checkout, be sure to enter her mailing information instead of your own.
After purchase, you’ll also receive a printable PDF announcement that you can download and give to her so she knows something special is on the way.
Do subscriptions automatically renew?
No. All subscriptions are pre-paid packages and do not renew automatically.
Before your term ends, you’ll receive an email inviting you to continue if you’d like.
How do I update my mailing address?
Email orders@dearmamamail.com with your old and new addresses.
If the change is submitted after the monthly mailing date, it will apply to the next card.
What happens if there’s a postal strike or delay?
If mail service is interrupted, cards may arrive later than expected — but they won’t be forgotten.
In the event of an extended delay, a digital version will be emailed so encouragement still reaches you.
Do you offer refunds?
Because each card is individually prepared and mailed, all processed orders are final sale.
